Resin Cast Frames Small with spring clips

Resin Cast Frames are designed to make it easy to create multiple mould boxes for resins and silicones. Made from a 5mm sturdy transparent methacrylate material and featuring L-shaped sides for additional structural integrity. Includes four spring clamps, which play a crucial role in holding each frame securely in place. It can be used repeatedly, making it an economical alternative to constantly buying or building separate mould boxes. They can be configured in various ways to create moulds of different sizes and shapes without having to invest in a range of mould boxes. These moulds greatly facilitate the mould box assembly process, but do not completely seal the joints. To prevent resin from leaking out during the pouring process, the usual process for sealing the joints must be followed.

Instructions for use

• Ensure the area is completely free of imperfections and dirt before starting.
• Place the frames so that the L-shape matches the overlap of the next frame.
• When using a release agent, note that the resin walls may not be completely smooth.
• Place the spring clips on the L-shaped joints to secure the position.
• To ensure a good seal between the frames and the base, any remaining gaps should be filled with modelling clay to prevent resins, silicones, or casting compound from leaking out. Any openings can cause leaks.
• Pour resin evenly over the surface.
• After the recommended curing of the resin, carefully remove the spring clamps first, then firmly remove the frames.
