Model Wash is a range of washes made with a unique water-based formula. The product offers the model painter new techniques to represent the processes of aging and exposure to the elements. Colors with a matte finish and high capillarity, formulated to bring out the smallest details of the model's panels and the contrasts caused by wear and accumulated dirt caused by operational and weather influences. The versatility of Model Wash makes the product equally useful for quick shading as for creating caked dust and dirt around the model's details, such as rivets and panel lines. The washes are also used as a filter, applied uniformly to the model to adjust the base color. Model Wash can be applied with a brush and airbrush and dries very quickly so that after about 20 minutes the painting or weathering process can be continued. Clean painting tools with water.
