These raw materials are available in various forms:

• Crushed stone / Gravel (small) average 2 mm
• Stone from half a cm to approximately 1 cm
• Sand from very fine sand to approximately 1 mm

Tip:

There are a number of ways to work with raw materials when it comes to the final look.

• First, make sure your sub-surface has a primer, possibly with a base color over it (e.g., brown and/or green). And then the raw materials. In this case, the choice of color scheme for the raw materials is important to you.
• You finish your scenery first and spray everything with primer, and then you start working on the scenery with colors. Please note! It does not matter here which color raw materials you will use. Personally, I then choose black because of the shadow effect.
• To attach the raw materials, I use wood glue, which I apply with a brush and then sprinkle with gravel or sand. For applying the larger stones, I use a little more glue and stick them one by one.

For a nicer finish, combining the various types of rocks, gravel, and sand is a must.

I usually use the very fine sand for the appearance of moss on and between the stones.
