If the intention is to create a textured base, we recommend using an MDF base, as you can texture the polymer clay directly onto an MDF base and then place everything, including the base, into the oven. The cooking time for these clays is about 15 minutes at 150ºC. MDF wood may leave a slight odor, similar to that of toasted bread, but don't worry, it won't burn!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn the case of epoxy putties, there are different techniques that yield similar results. You can also reduce stickiness by applying talcum powder or using Sculptor Vaseline.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOther epoxy putties such as, for example, Milliput putty are also suitable, but we recommend not wetting them too much as this will hinder your work.
