If the intention is to create a textured base, we recommend using an MDF base, as you can texture the polymer clay directly on an MDF base and then place everything in the oven, including the base. The cooking time for these clays is about 15 minutes at 150ºC. MDF wood may leave a slight smell, similar to toasted bread, but don't worry, it won't burn!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the case of epoxy putties, there are different techniques that yield similar results. You can also reduce stickiness by applying talcum powder or using Sculptor Vaseline.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOther epoxy putties such as Milliput putty are also suitable, but we recommend not wetting them too much as this will hinder your work.
