ABS Plastic Sheet 0.25 mm
Plastic sheets are made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, also known as plasticard. The general term plasticard refers to a type of plastic widely used in model making. ABS plastic is the plastic used for LEGO pieces.
This plastic has very attractive physical properties for model making, as it is easy to work with despite its strength and durability. It is available in sheets of various thicknesses, smooth or textured, or in the form of profiles with diverse shapes. The ideal adhesive for ABS plastic is cyanoacrylate glue. PVA glue can also be used, but it dries much more slowly.
ABS plasticard also has thermoplastic properties, which allows it to change shape by using different heat sources.
