These raw materials come in various forms:

• Split / Gravel (small) average 2 mm
• Gravel average 2-4 mm
• Slate varying
• Stone from half a cm to approximately 1 cm
• Sand from very fine sand to approximately 1 mm

Tip:

There are several options for working with raw materials when it comes to the final look.

• First, ensure your base is primed, possibly with a base color over it (for example, brown and/or green). Then apply the raw materials. In this case, the color choice of the raw materials is important for you.
• First, finish your scenery and spray everything with primer, and then you start painting the scenery with colors. Pay attention! It doesn't matter what color raw materials you use here. Personally, I then choose black because of the shadow effect.
• For attaching the raw materials, I use wood glue, which I apply with a brush and then sprinkle with gravel or sand. For applying the larger stones, I use a bit more glue and stick them individually.

For a nicer finish, combining the various types of rocks, gravel, and sand is a must.

I usually use the very fine sand to create the look of moss on and between the stones.
