There are many types and sizes of brushes, and each brush is designed for a different purpose.
Synthetic bristles are very similar to natural hair bristles, but they are more suitable for less experienced painters or for techniques that require a less watered-down medium, such as dry brushing. Ideal for single-stroke techniques, and generally for any other technique that requires loading minimally diluted paint, as synthetic bristles absorb less water. For techniques such as washes, blending, layering, and degrading that require a more diluted medium, we recommend using our natural hair brushes.
Compared to natural hair brushes, synthetic hair brushes require less maintenance to keep the shape of their tips. It is recommended to shape the bristles into a sharp point after use and to prevent paint residue from drying between the bristles. After painting, leave them standing upright to prevent deformation of the tips. Proper maintenance of these brushes guarantees a long lifespan.
