Only the best parts of the Siberian Kolinsky have been used in the elaboration of the GOLD SERIES, producing a brush with bristles of the highest level for a reasonable price. These brushes come in a protective case to preserve their quality.

They work best with water-based acrylic paints, especially with fine techniques such as washes, blending, layering, and degrading. In general, they are recommended for any technique that requires a more diluted medium. We advise against single stroke or dry brush techniques as these can damage the tip.

This type of hair provides high water and paint absorption and excellent elasticity, making it a highly technical brush.

Natural hair brushes naturally require more care than synthetic hair brushes, as their decay can lead to a loss of firmness and broken hairs. To ensure your Kolinsky brushes last longer, we recommend not letting paint residue dry in the bristles and shaping them and sharpening the tip with our Brush Repair Gel. After painting, leave them standing with the bristles facing upwards to avoid deformation of the tips.

We do not recommend the use of Kolinsky brushes for oil paints, as the products needed to clean the bristles after this type of paint can rapidly deteriorate the natural hair of Kolinsky.
