Crackle Paint
This is a fast-drying water-based paint that cracks as it dries to create an eggshell crackle pattern in just 1 step. Apply directly from the bottle onto the surface. There is no need to apply multiple layers of paint.
In the case of very smooth surfaces, we recommend sanding them slightly to add roughness and improve the grip of the cracks. Matt Primer is usually sufficient for grip.
Apply directly or with a brush. Depending on the thickness of the application, a different size of cracks can be created. Do not use a heat gun to speed up the drying process; just let it dry naturally. Please note that extremely irregular or very small surfaces can affect the size of the cracks.
