Crackle paint
This is a fast-drying water-based paint that cracks as it dries to create an eggshell crack pattern in just 1 step. Apply directly from the bottle to the surface. There is no need to apply multiple coats of paint.
In the case of very smooth surfaces, we recommend sanding them slightly to add roughness and improve the grip of the cracks. Matte Primer is usually sufficient for grip.
Apply directly or with a brush. Depending on the thickness of the application, different sizes of cracks can be created. Do not use a heat gun to speed up the drying process, just let it dry naturally. Please note that extremely irregular or very small surfaces can affect the size of the cracks.
