ABS Plasticard - Profile SQUARE 1.5 mm
Plasticard profiles made of ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) are known as Plasticard. The general term Plasticard refers to a type of plastic widely used in model building. ABS plastic is used for LEGO parts.
This plastic has very attractive physical properties for model building, as it is very easy to work with despite its strength and durability. It is available in sheets of various thicknesses, smooth or textured, or in the form of profiles with a wide variety of shapes. The ideal adhesive for ABS plastic is cyanoacrylate. PVA glue can also be used, but it takes much longer to dry.
ABS Plasticard also has thermoplastic properties, allowing it to change shape using various heat sources.
